Aimee Rose is a proud native San Franciscan and a lifelong passionate dancer. She believes life is a dance, and no matter what you are doing, you can always employ the mentality of a dancer: discipline, strength, grace, creativity, and energy.

Aimee specializes in Jamaican Dancehall and is also well versed in Indian Bhangra, Bollywood, Afro-Brazilian, Samba, Afro-Haitian, Cuban Folklore, Salsa, House, and is a a dance workout enthusiast.

Aimee is an experienced dance instructor currently teaching youth and adults across the Bay Area, where she continues to build community through movement and culture.

She has performed with her group The QuintEssentials (now the Frisco Rockaz), opening for renowned Reggae and Dancehall artists such as Christopher Martin, Alborosie, and Cham. Aimee has also contributed choreography to music videos for artists including Macka Diamond, Los Rakas, MC Rai, and Bayonics.

Aimee is a proud member of several respected dance collectives, including Kimiko Versatiles’ VersatileOnes in Jamaica, Truth de Leon’s B.A.E Squad in the Bay Area, and D.A.M. Daring Arts Movement.

Her performance experience spans both the Bay Area and Jamaica, with standout appearances at Sumfest 2016, the Sierra Nevada World Music Festival, and numerous prestigious venues and schools.

In addition to performing, Aimee has taught at various dance camps and continues to work closely with youth, sharing her passion for dance and cultural expression.
